Rhodapex CO436 is a highly efficient surfactant of alkylphenol ether ammonium sulfate, which is widely used in the production of various emulsion polymers, including styrene-acrylic and pure acrylic emulsion polymers, as the main emulsifier. It can also be used in HASE emulsion synthesis

Rhodapex CO436 can be used to prepare a broad range of commercial emulsion polymers including acrylics,vinyl-acrylics, and styrene-acrylics.  Such polymers find application in latex paints, adhesives, paper coatings, and textiles.

Rhodapex CO436 is particularly useful in the preparation of small particle size emulsion polymers with high water resistance and excellent chemical stability.  

The versatility of Rhodapex CO436 allows it to be used with a wide range of polymerization techniques, including thermal and redox processes.  

When properly used in conjunction with other anionic and nonionic surfactants, Rhodapex CO436 allows for the trouble-free commercial production of extremely stable emulsion polymers.
